Everyone in Piano Class will be given 2 piano or other keyboard instrument composers to quickly research and place in chronological order of when they were alive. You must include their Musical Time Period (Baroque, Classical, Romantic, 20th Century) add a picture, and provide a link to YouTube or another site that plays a popular example of their music (does not have to be a piano piece).
How to Edit the Wiki:
1. Click Edit at the top right and start typing . . . that's it.
How to add a picture:
1. Search the composer's name in Google
2. Save it to your desktop
3. Back at the Wiki - click the FILE box at the top
4. Click UPLOAD FILES and select your picture
5. Once it loads into the screen, you can click out of it
6. Click on your picture and a box will appear.
7. Click + or - to make it bigger or smaller
How to add a link:
1. Search for a recording of their music on YouTube or another site
2. Copy the web address at the top of the screen by highlighting it and hitting CONTROL-C
3. Back at the Wiki - Make sure the cursor is just under your picture
4. Click LINK at the top of the page
5. Click EXTERNAL LINK
6. In the LINK TEXT box put the name of the piece
7. In the ADDRESS box click inside it and paste your website by hitting CONTROL-V
8. Click NEW WINDOW so it will open up a new window when it brings up the video
